Dr Amarjit Khambay is a dentist by profession and manages The White House Dental Practice which is one of the largest NHS based dental practices that includes a specialist service for the treatment of dental phobics. His contribution to the Dentistry profession has been rewarded in numerous ways.
Amarjit is the only Honorary Life Member of the Anglo-Asian odontological Group (which established the National Centre for Transcultural Oral Health) which he founded as an undergraduate. Amarjit was awarded the Diploma in General Dental Practice by election by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Amarjit has supported numerous charitable activities and contributed generously to community causes. He has also nurtured many young people though personal sponsorship to achieve their full potential. He is also a Trustee for the Drug and Alcohol Action Programme (DAAP), a registered charity, whose aim is to empower communities against addiction.
Amarjit is a highly respected member of the Asian and business communities in the UK.
Dr Khambay qualified in 1984 from the Royal London Hospital and joined the White House Dental Practice in 1988. Her special interests are in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry. She is currently attending courses on bleaching and periodontics as well as looking into starting an MSc in periodontics.
In her spare time she raises three children and enjoys sports and reading.
Dr Patel has over 25 years experience in general dental practice. He has always had a keen interest in postgraduate education and further training. He recently obtained a certificate in Endodontics from the University of Warwick under the guidance of Professor Liviu Steier. He is also currently engaged in in-house training of dentists and dental care professionals.
He accepts endodontic referrals on a private basis as well as offering a wide range of advanced and cosmetic dental treatments.
In his spare time he is a keen botanist as well as active golfer and cricketer.
Dr Marway is one of the most experienced dentists currently working at the Whithouse Dental Practice having qualified 24 years ago from the University of Liverpool. He immediately started working at the Whitehouse Dental Practice and has a very dedicated following of patients. In 1994 he gained the prestigious Diploma in General Dental Practice which reflected his interest in postgraduate education and training. He continues to pursue his interest in further training by regularly attending numerous courses. His special interests lie in endodontics and restorative dentistry. In addition he enjoys keeping up date with modern techniques, materials and technology. Over the past 20 years he has also treated many anxious and nervous patients with a variety of techniques and has much experience in providing treatment under sedation.
Outside dentistry Dr Marway is a keen sportsman with a particular interest in badminton and cycling. He has participated in several cycling marathons over the past few years.
Dr Sihota qualified in 1992 from the University of Liverpool after which he spent spent time travelling as wel as working. He has worked at the White House Dental Practice since 1997 with special interest in root canal treatment.
In Onkar's spare time he enjoys socialising, playing football and eating tastey food!
Dr Navneet Chahal has been with the Whitehouse Team for more than 8 years. She is a very experienced and caring dentist who enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a particular interest in prosthetics and care of the elderly.
Navneet actively engages in community projects to promote oral health including participating in radio interview programmes on oral health education as well as providing seminars on ‘dental health for the elderly’ for local community groups. She is passionate about prevention of dental disease and patient education.
Navneet places great emphasis on updating her clinical knowledge and to this end she is currently in her second year of studies in MClinDent in restorative dentistry programme in London. She also has a keen interest in teaching and hopes to pursue this in the near future alongside her current role in general dental practice.
Sona qualified from King's College Dental Institute London in 1999. She worked in different types of independent and corporate dental practices, both in the NHS and Private sector. In 2001, she joined a small dental practice in Denham and helped build it into a thriving dental practice. Whilst there, she helped bring many gleaming smiles to the various celebrities she treated.
In 2011, she decided to take on a new challenging venture, to build up a dental practice from a squat building, and set up her own private practice.
Her interests in dentistry lie in Cosmetic Dentistry, Removable Prosthetic Dentistry and Preventive Dentistry.
In her spare time, you will find her on a yoga mat doing various loses or working for various charitable organizations close to her heart.
Dr Harjhot Khambay graduated from Cardenal Herrera University, Valencia, achieving top marks each year. Whilst at university, he enjoyed delivering presentations about various topics, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. Harjhot endeavours to deliver the highest quality of patient care by making it his priority to create a friendly and relaxed environment, whilst staying true to his philosophy of minimal intervention.
Harjhot is committed to continual learning and regularly attends dental courses and seminars to keep his knowledge up to date. He is passionate about preventive dentistry and looks forward to working with the local community to provide dental education and promote a healthy lifestyle. He places importance on patient participation by listening to your needs and discussing all the available options so you can decide the best treatment plan for you!
Outside of dentistry Harjhot enjoys watching and playing football, taking his dog for walks and spending time with friends and family.
Graduating from University of Bristol in 2016, Amidia enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a keen interest in oral surgery. She is particularly passionate about prevention, patient education and working with young children.
Having recently completed Part 1 of the MJDF exam, she is looking to complete Part 2 in the near future and has attended various dental courses to update her clinical knowledge.
In her spare time she enjoys staying active by playing team sports, dancing and travelling, and she also enjoys cooking and trying different cuisines.
I am currently a practicing dental surgeon with over 35 years hands on experience in all the fields of Dentistry. I have worked in the Private, the NHS, the UK Immigration Dentition Centers and the Prison Dental Services.
In recent years, I have focused my interests in General Clinical Practice with a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry focused on Teeth Whitening.
In the Private Clinic I work closely with all our Specialists and Trainee Specialists in their pre and post patient management. I am also the Emergency Dentist for the Private Clinic.
As a General Dentist I have the benefit of my experience in all aspects of patient needs including patient liaison, patient welfare, with particular emphasis in Dental Sedation and in the treatment of nervous patients. I have found this experience to be very valuable and my patients tell me that I am well suited to the needs of those patients who require that little bit extra TLC.
I am currently a lecturer for Sterling Dental College and also lecturing post graduate students for the Chiropractic faculty of BPP University.
To help improve my teaching skills I have enrolled at the University of Bedford as a post graduate and am currently studying for the Post Graduate Certificate in Dental Education.
Dr Manchuthan Navaratnarajah qualified as a Dentist from University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka in 2003. He moved to the UK after many years of practising General Dentistry in Sri Lanka. In 2014, he completed the GDC statutory exam in the UK. When he was working as a General Dental Practitioner in Oxford, he achieved an award for Diploma in Membership of Joint Dental Faculty by Royal College of Surgeons, England. (MJDF RCS Eng).
He prides himself in providing a relaxed, calm and professional environment for patients. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry in particular preventive care, restorative and also treating children. He has always been keen on continuous postgraduate dental education and has attended various courses to enhance his clinical skills.
In his spare time, he enjoys travelling and wild photography.
Dr. Nimmi Patel graduated and qualified as a Dentist after she completed a five years Dentistry Degree -Bachelor Degree in Dentistry, in Karnataka – India 2015. Afterwards she worked as General Dental Practitioner in hospital where she gained experience in the area of Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. She received her UK Dental Registration from the GDC after passing the statutory exams during January 2019.
With a keen eye for perfection, Nimmi’s passion since the beginning of her professional career has always been the area of Restorative, Facial aesthetic and Prosthetic Dentistry, as in her own words, “one of the best feelings is to see my patients smile again with confidence” Nimmi loves Singing, she is a trained singer and takes part in different programs and activities where singing involves when she is not busy transforming smiles, can also be seen on the gym and badminton tournaments. Nimmi is a very good Chess Player too.
Dr Satwinder Matharu is one of the dentist trainees at White House Dental Practice . She graduated from Ajman University of science and technology, UAE, in 2016. She has a keen interest in Oral Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry and is committed to providing excellent dental care for patients.
Satwinder is keen to take on new challenges and expand her knowledge and experience.
